So I need to get a new computer soon. The once I have is refurbished and under $300 and a Toshiba, and 17” so it’s not very nice and extremely annoying to carry around. I didn’t get this laptop for college though. I got it at the beginning of my senior year. The desktop I was using I had for a while and my mom was tired of fixing it. Oh and my mom is very good with computers, which is nice. When I was 12 I got my first computer, but I wasn’t just a spoiled brat, she built it herself and I helped so it was cheaper. No, she didn’t build each individual piece of the hard drive and such, but she ordered all the parts and put them in and then put all of the software on it. At the time I didn’t know how smart my mom was with computers compared to everyone else’s parents. I’m probably one of the only kids of our generation that doesn’t have to explain how to use a computer to their mother- but don’t worry, I still have to teach her how to use her iPhone. So anyway, she was getting tired of fixing my desktop so she just went out and got me a laptop. But now, after having it one year, I’m ready for a new one. Note: I’m not getting a Mac so don’t waste your time trying to sell me one. (A couple of my friends have them and I don’t hear the end of it- there are actually good PC’s out there believe it or not)
