and going back in time allows him to move on his tangent path like nothing happened. So I can continue to relate this to teenagers, because it is often during this time where they need to try out different ideas. During this development they are making decisions about sex, alcohol, drugs, friends and any beliefs on religion or politics. While defining themselves in these changes, they need to try them out and get that closure before they are able to move on. Unfortunately, unlike Angel, teenagers do not get the forgiveness of time travel and they have to face the consequences of their actions. But teenagers have to make a decision like Angel about whether they want to keep doing the new thing like drugs or alcohol. And if they changed and reasoned that they don’t want to do it anymore, then they have the closure. Finally, for the scene (not quite sure where I’m fitting it in) I’m going to use the one where Angel meets with the Oracles and asks to be turned back. This is the critical moment where Angel has changed and has had closure and is ready to move on. The oracles are tentative at first, thinking he should just enjoy what he wanted, but then they realize that he is a higher being for wanting to change. He is a higher being because he has developed his reasoning skills and therefore realized he can’t have both, and would rather be a vampire. So yeah,
