I watched Harry Potter! I didn’t go to Easton because I was up late and didn’t wake up until one. And then the game started and then I got really tired and took a nap. Then I ate dinner and saw Harry Potter. I didn’t really do much today, but I think we all need those kind of days to “catch up.” Saturday is like my catch up on sleep and relaxing, and Sunday is my catch up/get ahead on homework day. Sundays feel so weird though, no matter what, they always feel dreary and gloomy, like it’s a forced homework day.
So I saw Harry Potter! It actually was better than I thought. I think because it is in two parts, so it was actually thorough and correct. Also, I haven’t read the book in over 2 years, so I don’t even remember the specific details that the movie omits. I only remember vague parts of the big things, and then I’ll remember how the scene ends half way through it’s over. So the movie is fun in that way. And I think for a fantasy/science fiction movie, it is extremely funny. The creators are so cleaver in making such a dressing story comical. They really play on the sexual tension and ignorance of the teenage characters. It’s almost like watching a sit-com. I always laugh whenever someone tries to get something by saying, “accio ____” and then it doesn’t work, and then they’re always frustrated. It’s like, well duh it won’t work!
