Right now I’m watching The Office on Netflix- season 6. For some reason I only like watching The Office on Netflix, or when I can watch them back-to-back. I never really got into watching it each week on NBC. I’m going to go home this Wednesday for the first time this quarter. I’m super excited! This sounds lame, but I really miss my cats. I know I should miss my family more, but really, you can’t talk to your cats on the phone. It would be horrible if I couldn’t talk to my parents on the phone, or if they couldn’t visit me, but I can’t do that with my cats. So judge me if you want, but I really miss my cats. I’m going home because we have Thursday off, YAY, and this weekend is bands of America grand nationals in Indianapolis. So a couple of us from marching band at Ohio State are going, as well as a friend that goes to Bowling Green is meeting us Friday here, and we’re going over to Indy together. So we have to go back to Mason to get a car so we can go leave Saturday morning. So we’re going back to Mason Wednesday night, and I’m really excited to have some home-town classics like Skyline and SoHo hibachi grill.
So tonight we ate at our first ‘official High Street’ restaurant, Panda Express. It was pretty good. I liked the fried rice and orange chicken. American-Chinese food isn’t too bad.
Are you in the marching band? Or am I sleepy and reading this wrong? :P
ReplyDeleteIt's not sad that you really really really miss your cats. I do the same thing with my pets. I get so happy when I go home and see them! Have fun!
I LOVE SoHo!!! Puts Panda Express to shame, right? Enjoy your trip home, I give you lots of credit for holding out this long! I also love The Office. If you have never seen Season 1, you should. It is some of the best stuff they have had. Have a great time!
ReplyDeleteno I'm not in the marching band, I was in high school, and the 'final' competition is this weekend in Indianapolis so we're going to support our alma mater!

Have fun going home and seeing your cats. It seems like you have an exciting weekend coming up with the Bands of America Event. Going home for the first time is always nice.
