Home! If you’re trying to get extra credit for comments, then you probably know that I went home today. My first thought when I went home was, my house has a weird smell… It’s strange how something we’re use to and so familiar can seem so strange after a couple of weeks. I don’t think I could commute from home (not that I’m close enough) but my cats are too distracting. One of my cats rubbed her hear against my computer screen for 5 minutes, and then she laid down on my butt, and now she thinks my laptop case is a wonderful place to lay…
One of the things I like about going home is going shopping with your parents. I just got back from Kohl’s (We saved more than we spent, yippee!) it wasn’t a big event; it was more of something to do. I got a shirt, hat, and some socks.
Shortly after submitting this blog, I’m going to go to Sonic! I don’t know where it’s from, but there isn’t one on campus (that I know of). If you haven’t been to Sonic, you need to. The best thing about it is that it’s open until midnight- which is a big deal. The only places that are open past midnight where I’m from is Walmart and UDF. So it’s nice to get a cream slush without getting out of the car every once and a while. Plus, the Sonic I go to is right by Walmart. This makes an easy answer for “what do we do next?” When hanging out with friends. One time, we saw these people park at Sonic in a Walmart shopping cart!
I love that Sonic is open 24hrs during the summer. Whenever I go to Sonic during the summer back at my home, I will always see someone I know there. It doesn't matter what how late it is. And the food isn't bad either.

ReplyDeleteI think I am feeling ice cream at UDF more than Sonic, but that is just me! Have a great weekend at home! At least your cats remember you!
