So today I want to rant about adults. My weekend at grand nationals was fun. It was at the Lucas Oil Stadium (where the Colts and Bengals played today). So at the end of semi-finals, one of our friends left to go sit with his girlfriend that is still in high school and had to sit in a certain spot. He also didn’t have his phone (it was dead because he left his charger at home). So after awards were over, we decided to stay where we were thinking that it would be easier for him to find us than the other way around. He knew where we were and we didn’t know where he was. So we just stayed in our seats, at the very top. The seats were pretty much empty. And then this guy that worked at Lucas Oil, at the bottom of our section, yelled up at us, “HEY, GET OUT OF HERE!” Like we knew we were doing something wrong and he needed us out that second. They needed to make sure everyone left for finals, but that wasn’t for another 2 hours, and we were only sitting there less than 10 minutes after awards concluded. So we left without any problems, but I just couldn’t believe how rude he was to us. I think it was because we were teenagers. If we were adults, maybe old people, he would’ve come up to us and asked us nicely to leave. You don’t yell at adults. But because we’re teenagers he thinks we’re up to no good and needs to yell at us. Believe it or not, there are actually teenagers that try to do the right thing, but sometimes they don’t know they’re doing something wrong.
I don't know why certain adults do that either. It was extremely rude of that guy to yell at you guys like that. It's good that you guys left without saying anything though, because it could have caused a bigger problem. Maybe now he feels like a jerk since you guys were nice about it, and just left.
ReplyDeleteThose people annoy me. I wonder when I will actually LOOK like an adult and by that, I mean when people will actually start treating me like an adult. I'm 19, almost 20 and people still think I'm 16. It's a good thing to look young, but to be treated like your the typical trouble maker teenager isn't fine by me especially if you're a good person.
ReplyDeleteThat should be bad experience you had at that time. Just forget about that and enjoy the days coming!
