So this being beat-michigan week, there are a lot of exciting things going on like the pep rally and block parties ect. Well there was a crafts night that we wanted to go to, we thought it was tonight, but it was actually last night. That was kind of upsetting when we found that out. So then we decided we’re going to make tie-dye shirts while we’re home for Thanksgiving. So there have been posters up for a north commons block party the whole past week advertising free food and corn hole. Unable to decide where to eat, we decided to check that out first. We headed over to Royer Activities Center and just went inside. We found the pizza and… a bunch of people with name tags…? We were confused. There was no tailgate party. It was a meeting about climate change. And we just took their food without going to the presentation. I decided that should be something everyone does during college. Just take food from something that you didn’t even go to. So then we were still hungry and wanted to go to the union to the pep rally to get that free food. We got there by 9:30, and apparently college pep rallies aren’t like the ones in high school that take 4 hours because by the time we got there, just 2 hours after it started, it was completely cleaned out. So then we got ice-cream at mirror lake. And I want to add that I LOVE all the signs that have the M’s crossed out. It makes me want to change my name to Aggie.

  1. My favorite is taking random food from the church groups on south oval. I always feel a little bad that I'm just taking their food and don't care what they have to say but oh well.

  2. I did the same thing after the pep rally last night. I figured it would still be going on after a while but apparently it was a pretty short one.

  3. I did that kind of things too. Sometime I would feel guilty when I took food without caring about the topic of that party.
