Blog 28

I forgot to blog yesterday because I WENT TO SEE AZIZ!!!!!!! It was really funny, and the opening comedian Dan Levi or something was quite funny too. The only thing about this experience, is that I realized how much I hate waiting in lines. That would be my only complaint about Ohio State, it’s that I don’t like waiting in lines. I like the big school because of all the opportunities, and you’re going to find something you like here, it’s just I hate crowds. Most days it’s not a big deal. I just try not to eat at crowded times, but last night, at an event that popular, it was pretty crowded. The other thing about Aziz was the venue… We were just in this giant room with a lot of chairs. I guess that’s probably the biggest place they have to hold people, but still it would’ve been nicer to be in a more auditorium setting. And then with being in a big room with a bunch of chairs, the seat number and row didn’t matter, it was just first come first serve, and we didn’t know that. There was this very big line, and we didn’t know it was happening so we chilled in the student organizations room in the Union- which is a very cool place if you haven’t been there. So we try to get into the grand ballroom, but it’s roped off, so we go back downstairs, outside, walk to the end of the line, to just walk back inside, go up the stairs, and get back to the ballroom. That was kind of frustrating. So next time I do an OUAB event I’ll know there IS going to be a line, so I should get there early if I want good seats. Overall though, like I said, it was very enjoyable, and I’m glad I went.

  1. I didn't even know this happened already. Well that makes me sad that I missed it. OUAB puts on a lot of good events all year round that are definitely worth checking out and as you mention there are massive lines for most of the events. I find it strange that they chose to do first come first serve seating rather than by ticket number or something. However I am glad to hear that it was funny!

  3. Yeah, i feel ya on the crowds and lines thing. I can't stand being in lines or large crowds. I also cant stand it when im packed in with a large group of people either. I guess i might be a little clostraphobic or something.

  4. I agree with you on all of the crowds here. It seems whenever I want to eat lunch or dinner I pick the WORST times possible. I guess everyone here just thinks the same way I do.
