Blog 15 sources

Everywhere in the world there are innumerable amounts of stuff people want: cars, houses, that iPad, or even love. People chase all of these things, the things that will finally make them happy forever. Just take a walk in a mall, down a busy street or just watch TV for twenty minutes. There will be thousands of things that people want, but what makes them happy?
For my research paper, I’m going to explore the different reasons that make people happy and “at ease” with themselves. Angel can finally be with Buffy, it is what he wants, but in the end he turns it down because what will really satisfy him is to know she’s safe. So what puts the mind at peace if it isn’t receiving our wants? I hope to find the psycological reasons why the wants don’t satisfy us, and why we need more. I want to find what does make us turely ‘happy’ and at peace.
