I just watched “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” This is a must see movie if you managed not to see it yet. I like it a lot but it’s definitely not my favorite. I think it relates to guys more than girls. I think some part of every guy wants to be Ferris Bueller for a day. I can’t really relate to it that much because my high school started at 7:15 every day so my day off would include sleeping until noon, and then just chilling for the rest of the day. I wouldn’t want to be running around the city, except I wouldn’t mind Chicago. Chicago is one of my favorite cities, except it’s on the more dangerous side, but every big city kind of is. I like “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” because it highlights some of the land marks in Chicago. The last I’ve been to Chicago was for a Wind Symphony trip when I was a sophomore. It was the best trip we’ve gone on during my years in Wind Symphony. It was just so relaxed, we could do whatever we wanted, and we were treated not like freshmen. We got to go to the Chicago Art Museum, and we saw that one piece that Cameron stares at forever.
Watching that movie again reminded me of other movies I should see again that are great. One of them is “Pleasantville”. This is about a teenage boy and girl going into the TV and becoming a part of a 60’s sitcom is black and white. As the boy and girl bring their current aged mishaps into the 60’s sitcom, color starts to emerge and the town is turned upside down. Definitely a must see!
